Located at 1717 R T Dunn Dr Ste e, Bloomington, IL 61701, Higher Harvest operates as a hydroponics store serving Bloomington in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as garden center, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Bloomington is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bloomington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I only gave one star because zero Stars was not an option. They absolutely do not deserve one star. They are almost never open during the midday when the sign says they're open when Google says they're open. I have no idea how these people are still in business, truly pathetic. When a grower needs a storage sometimes they need them now wasting an hour driving across town and back all the time for them to never be open during business hours. It's truly pathetic and horrible business practice. And even when they are open everything's inflated price like crazy. You can buy anything in there on Amazon for cheaper. The only thing they're good for is when you need something right now, but they're not good for that at all because they're never open when they're supposed to be. I hope somebody that's an actual reliable business owner actually opens up a weed related grow store in this town one day. Until then these pathetic people are all are stuck with.

Ordered lamp reflectors, they sent the wrong product. E-mailed w/ issue, they never responded. called the business, someone answered after many attempts. Said they'd call the owner to get it straightened out. Never heard back. Several more attempts to contact, same guy said owner never responded to his calls. Still no replacement months later. Buyer beware.

I live about 45 minutes away so I wanted to be sure they had what I needed before I drove out there. A very simple question. I called multiple times throughout the day, no one ever picked up. I tried again the next day, same. Next day I finally got someone who told me they only work there for a couple hours on that day and did not know the answer to my question, would ask someone, and call me back before the end of the day. No return phone call. I decided to try one last time today. Someone answered on the first call. Then asked me to hold. 15 minutes later, I hung up. Avoid this place like the plague.

So excited to start growing and saving some money. Grow setup was put together by HIGHER HARVEST in Bloomington, IL. The staff there were super helpful in getting me started and set up with everything I needed. I had a million and one questions regarding where to start, PH levels, and when and when not to add Nutes, just to name a few. They also have a great selection of 🌱. If your in the central Illinois area, they are a good place to check out. They even came over to set everything up. Hella excited!!!
